Inventory Performance Analyst (Fulltime - Geleen)

The position

The Inventory Performance Analyst will be responsible for improvement of the end-to-end inventory performance through monitoring, analyzing and driving corrective actions. Bring clarity on the actual inventory performance in terms of service level, cost and capital invested offset against the targeted performance. You are early in your career and you have the ambition to grow to senior positions in IBP/SCM.

  • Finds and clarifies root causes on inventory performance issues by thorough analyses in the field of forecast accuracy, supply reliability, schedule adherence, Cost of Goods etc.
  • Offers the information and scenarios to the organization to improve performance. Drives these improvements.
  • Works closely with the IBP Excellence Center in creating the pertaining reports/ dashboards that facilitate the inventory performance discussions horizontally and vertically across the organization.
  • Creates monthly global raw materials forecast in close collaboration with Planning and Procurement.
  • Monitors the accuracy of products' MRP and DRP parameters and suggests corrective actions to inventory owners.
  • Monitors forecast/sales trend development and stock levels as input to the monthly IBP process to ensure that production/replenishment timely anticipates trend breaks.
  • Defines and calculates safety stock levels.

Your profile

  • University master degree in Supply Chain, Business Management or Data analytics and preferably at least two years of planning/ procurement/ replenishment experience.
  • Critical thinking skills required to analyze data with ability to define root cause, and define corrective action.
  • Has a strong sense of financial urgency and customer service.
  • Is able to effectively communicate in both verbal and written forms with various levels of management.
  • Likes to work in a team environment.
  • Has the willingness to understand the market and customer/product portfolio.
  • Is acquainted with SAP (SD, MM, MRP/DRP) and Microsoft Excel.
  • A certification is APICS is recommended, not imperative.
  • Has a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Driven by safety, passion, trust, ownership and team spirit.
  • The position requires to be fluent in English.
