For the Integrated Business Planning Department (IBP), we are looking for a:

Production Planner (FT - 40 hrs.)

The position

As Production Planner you will actively support the design and implementation of new planning processes and tools as part of the global IBP establishment. As such you will be a key member in the IBP production planning work stream and develop, together with our team, a high performing supply chain driving business growth. 

  • Creates and maintains accurate Master Production Schedule meeting overall integrated  company goals.
  • Ensures accurate translation  of the masterplan in production and raw material schedules.
  • Develops planning scenarios for constraint situations,  leads the discussion with manufacturing and ensures constraint escalation to the right IBP platform.
  • Analyzes  impact and duration of (potential) supply issues and agrees on recovery plan with stakeholders.
  • Agrees with Marketing Lead on constraint inventory allocation and the related  communication into the organization.
  • Accountable for accurate and complete  product planning master data (MRP, DRP) and inventory targets.
  • Owns and drives inventory performance of all stocks in the supply chain related to the product planning portfolio.
  • Proactively and continuously looking for process improvements. 
  • Follows and practices all safety procedures, contributing to goal zero incidents.
  • Member of IBP excellence program, designing, implementing and enhancing planning processes and tools.

Your profile

  • Master degree in technical sciences and a minimum of four years of experience in similar roles, preferably in production or closely with production. A combination of education and experience will also be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP SD, MM, MRP/DRP and supply chain models.
  • Basic experience in lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and process skills and a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communicator able to build strong and trusted relationships with stakeholders.
  • Business mindset, understanding the dynamics between production, sales and finance with a focus on overall company value creation.
  • Fluent in English.
